The target audience includes representatives from consultants, contractors, and local government officers, as well as CIHT members and non-members that either have an interest or are working within highways and transport disciplines.
The main sectors include transport planning and highways, but the topics covered are also intended to provide a high level overview of a major multi-disciplinary highways project. As such the event is aimed at providing attendees with an understanding of the overall process rather than targeting any specialist groups.
Andrew Humphrey, Principal Engineer at East Riding of Yorkshire Council
Andrew Humphrey has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry with a major emphasis on project management of civil engineering projects.
Throughout his career he has played a key part in delivering numerous complex and high profile projects, from the detailed design stage, through the procurement process and finally construction on site.
Adam Lechmere, Technical Director at Pell Frischmann
Adam is a Technical Director at Pell Frischmann, with over 15 years’ experience in the highways and transport field.
He is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Transport Planning Professional, with expertise in development planning and a wealth of experience in managing area and topic-based transport studies for both Local Authorities and Public Transport Authorities. This includes leading the A164 and Jocks Lodge Junction Improvement Scheme from its initial inception to assess the potential scheme options, development of an Outline Business Case, and preparation of the planning application and progression of the detailed design.
