The International Olympic Committee described the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as truly exceptional'. At the closing ceremony the torch was handed to London and the 30th Olympiad in 2012 will bring the largest sporting event in the world to Britain. In this presentation Simon Camm and Andrew Jenkins of Arup, will describe the experiences gained from Beijing, the lessons learned and how this information will be used to inform planning the London 2012 games.
