Overview

This webinar will cover the investigation, structural assessment and subsequent deconstruction of two 10 span post-tensioned concrete viaducts within the cultural heart of Liverpool City Centre.

The project offers some unique insights into post-tensioned viaducts, drawn from historic published papers, original design documentation, combined with information gained from the systematic deconstruction and dissection of the bridge.

The webinar will also discuss the challenges faced in developing and implementing the deconstruction of the major post-tensioned structures within a busy city centre environment.
