Enabling people and goods to move about in cities has become a complex challenge that requires the combined resources and innovative thinking of multiple industries, working in close partnership with forward thinking city leaders.

The lecture will draw on Arup's Drivers of Change research - an on-going programme exploring the issues most likely to have a major impact on society. Exarnples of good practice in urban mobility will then be presented, based on the researcll that Arup has undertaken to support the World Economic Forum's SlimCity initiative.
