PA and CIHT explore the impact of the second wave of funding and what this means for young professionals in the road industry.
Technology innovation and evolving consumer expectations are creating a new normal for transport organisations. As we accelerate toward the future of transport in the Roads sector, we need to address what that future vision holds, and how we can harness the opportunities it presents.
This event co-hosted by PA Consulting and CIHT will outline what that future may look like in the roads sector. With particular focus on the impact of RIS2, our speakers will consider what the investment means for the future; both for road users and those working to deliver that future vision.
First, we’ll get inspired about the future of transport, with PA’s Transport Innovation Expert, Steve Carden sharing how PA have worked with Virgin Hyperloop One to bring new modes of transport to life.
Then David Oliver, Nick Hancock and Jannat Alkhanizi will focus on how the second Road Investment Strategy (RIS2) will impact the industry.
The panel will unpick their views on the future challenges and opportunities in the road industry, and what developments we can expect between 2020-2025, as a result of RIS2. They will share their perspective on what this will mean for the next generation as they develop the skills and resources to make these investments reality.
You are invited to ask questions to all speakers at the end of the discussion, and during the informal networking reception in PA’s offices.
The event is free to attend, however tickets are limited, so please ensure you reserve your place no later than 5 July.
