The Glasgow Avenues Programme continues to transform key streets across Glasgow City Centre and urban fringe through the delivery of an integrated network of pedestrian and cycle routes with widened footways, single surface crossing points, segregated cycle lanes and green/blue infrastructure.
Join us to hear from Ciaran Buchanan, Principal Officer at Glasgow City Council, on how the £115m Avenues Programme is progressing and the Council’s ambitions for the future.
This event is open to both members and non-members of CIHT. It will be of particular interest to Highway/Civil Engineers, Transport Planners and anyone with an interest in infrastructure, active travel and urban/street design.
Ciaran Buchanan, Principal Officer, Glasgow City Council
Ciaran is an experienced engineer and project manager who has worked across both public and private sectors. He worked with Waterman Group for almost 7 years before joining Glasgow City Council in 2013, now leading a team of Project Managers delivering the £115m Avenues Programme.
