Led and organised by CIHT West Midlands & East Midlands, this lunchtime webinar will discuss the road to professional qualifications through CIHT. The webinar will cover preparing your portfolio, what to expect in the interview and insight from a professional reviewer. This webinar will be followed by a live Q&A session.
This event will offer the opportunity to hear from three speakers:
1) Laura Menendez Gonzalez, who is currently going through the CEng review, will provide an overview of the process and her presentation will cover from CPD to the actual review day, including all the steps in the process such as gathering the portfolio, submission and the mock review.
Her presentation will address some of the differences between going through the professional qualification process pre and post Covid, with a highlight on the actual review in a digital format.
2) Damian Meehan, who is a Professional Reviewer, will cover topics such as what you can expect, using mentors, how to demonstrate competence with confidence, steering clear of pitfalls, how reviewers assess the evidence and make their recommendations, as well as dealing with remote reviews.
3) Sue Stevens, Director of Education and Membership at CIHT, will offer advice and guidance on getting chartered, as well as highlighting what resources are available to individuals to support them.
Anyone thinking of obtaining professional qualifications through CIHT, as well as early career professionals and those with an interest in learning more about the Professional Review from the perspective of the Reviewer.
