Transport Scotland’s next Appraisal and Modelling User Group meeting is taking place on Tuesday 10th September at the Dewars Centre in Perth. The focus of the day is to gather views on how transport appraisal and modelling tools in Scotland should develop going forward, taking into consideration the evolving policy landscape, priorities and outcomes of the draft successor National Transport Strategy published for consultation at the end of July and uncertainty around future demand for and how people will travel. There will be facilitated discussions and questions shared in advance for consideration. There will also be a period for feedback to be submitted following the User Group which will provide the opportunity for anyone unable to attend on the day to make their contribution with further details to follow in due course.
