The IHT and TPS, have recently launched a new Transport Planning Professional (TPP)
qualification, designed to provide professional recognition for Transport Planners. The
qualification enables transport planners to gain recognition for their particular technical skills and knowledge in the same way that CEng recognises professional engineers.

Two of the newly qualified transport planning professionals, Emma Young and Clive
Tombs, will share their experiences and give you their top tips on negotiating the assessment
process. Derek Palmer (TPP reviewer) will provide an overview of the qualification, the
competence standards and assessment procedures.
