CIHT endorse the following event for CPD certificates.
On 15 May 2014 UK Roads and Traffex Live will be holding a National Crash Demonstration Day. As in previous years, this unique, exciting and informative event is taking place at the High Energy Facility at MIRA near Nuneaton, Warwickshire. 2014 marks the tenth anniversary since the introduction of passive safety design on UK Roads. Take the opportunity to see how far we have come and to look at the wide variety of passive safety systems now in use.
This year the live crash demonstrations will feature the following:
Four high speed collisions with a variety of road side furniture, including a restraint system. Slower, drive through demonstrations of NE4 (non-harmful) products will also be taking place to show how versatile and effective these products continue to be even after a collision.
Demonstrations of other road safety products and services will also take place outside, adjacent to the crash area.

Places are FREE but are strictly only available in advance. Admission to MIRA’s premises will only be granted to those whose booking has been confirmed as there are a number of security measures to which all organisers, exhibitors and attendees will have to adhere.
