Reading Station completion – next stop Thames river crossing and new Green Park station

Reading station upgrade has taken 15 years to take from concept to delivery. Scott has been involved from the outset as a consultant to Reading Borough Council working with Network Rail in developing the designs, securing funds and delivering the interchanges. The next phase of the Reading area transport package is a new pedestrian and cycle bridge across the River Thames to connect to the station, and a new station at Green Park in South Reading to serve the major south Reading development area. The talk will cover the delivery of the main station and interchanges and the new infrastructure being planned and delivered in the next few years.
