Updating DfT Values of Travel Time Savings
A presentation by Richard Batley, Professor of Transport Demand and Valuation at ITS Leeds. An overview of the "Provision of market research for value of travel time savings and reliability" study by Arup/ITS Leeds/Accent Consortium for the DfT. The presentation will look at how qualitative factors can be valued in monetary terms and in particular consider how willingness-to-pay research methods can be used to provide values for in-vehicle travel time savings.
