CIHT Middle East is excited to offer this 5 week training series on Walking, Cycling & Micromobility Assessment.
In early 2026, Abu Dhabi launched the Walking, Cycling, and Micromobility Assessment Manual (TR-545) to promote sustainable travel and address common design and delivery issues affecting these users. Unlike road safety audits, which focus on collision risk, these assessments aim to ensure that non-motorised and micromobility users have safe, direct, comfortable, and well-designed routes.
This five-part webinar series fulfils the TR-545 (first edition) training requirement for assessors and provides practical guidance for designers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and developers. The first session introduces the policy context, the manual, and the assessment process, followed by four sessions exploring common challenges, solutions, and best practices for each user group.
Each online session of the five-part series needs to be booked individually. Registration requires name and email only. All sessions take place from 7 to 8 pm GST
