‘THE RYDER CUP 2008 – BEHIND THE SCENES AT VALHALLA’
The Annual Supper Evening will be held at Kings Norton Golf Club, Weatheroak, Nr. M42 Junction 3, on Thursday 5 February 2009.
The speaker will be Mr Phil Weaver, who is the Head Golf Professional at Coventry Golf Club and Chairman of the Professional Golfers Association. He was co-Chairman of the Ryder Cup Committee for 15 years until 2004 and is currently a member of the Ryder Cup Policy Board. In his official capacity he accompanied the Ryder Cup Team to Valhalla and, in his talk, will reveal details of the build up to the match.
The Supper Evening is open to members and guests alike bringing professionals from the highways and transportation arena together for an informal evening.
The bar will be open from 18:00hrs for drinks and supper will be served at 19:00hrs. The after dinner speech will commence at around 20:30hrs and the evening usually concludes by 21:30hrs.
