Overview of the course

This course is a practical, interactive and valuable guide to using bids and tenders effectively. . Delegates will learn how to find opportunities, to effectively manage the process – and to significantly increase the chances of creating successful bids. This course is CPD Endorsed by The Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT).

Why this course is important to attend?

Every year, contracts worth many billions of pounds are put out to tender by private businesses and the public sector. In addition, local authorities and organisations within the private sector prepare proposals to win a grant from a variety of funding streams: such as the Department for Transport’s funds, European Regional Development Funding and the Big Lottery Fund. Competition for these contracts and funds is tough, especially in the current economic climate. This course will help to get you into great shape for bidding, thereby hugely increasing the chance of your future bids being successful.

The workshop will give practical guidance on how to tackle bids from start to finish, giving you the skills and confidence for future competitions, regardless of scope, scale or complexity.
