Time: Breakfast sandwiches, pastries and refreshments will be provided from 8:00
Presentation and Questions 8:30 – 9:30
DaSTS has set out five national goals for transport, the roles of the transport networks and the key challenges that are faced nationwide. But how can we reconcile these goals and challenges, and how do we target investment in the right way in a climate of expected cuts in transport funding?
This breakfast briefing will present some insights from the DaSTS process to date, the issues that must be faced by transport planners as we look ahead, and the potential implications for transport investment in the medium and longer term.
