This year the CIHT Southern Branch will again be inviting young members to enter the Young Professionals’ Competition; however we are changing the rules to liven up the proceedings...
• Presentations can take any format (some ideas: poster, flipchart, pecha kucha
or without visual aids) and will be followed by questions.
• Submissions should reflect experience in the highways and transportation
sector but can be entirely new work, adapted from university projects,
professional development etc., essentially whatever takes your fancy.
• Entrants need to be members of the CIHT Southern Branch and under the
age of 35, but we may be able to fit you in if you don’t meet these criteria,
please get in touch.
This is an ideal opportunity to share your knowledge, practice your public speaking skills and/or or put your chartership presentation topic to the test.A panel of judges will assess the candidates and award monetary prizes as follows:
First Prize £100 and Second and Third Prizes £50 – what will you spend your winnings on? If you are interested in entering please send brief details of your proposed topic /presentation format along with your contact details to rachel.rombough@gmail.com.
