The annual CIHT North Western Branch Awards Dinner was held on Friday 23 April at the Park Hall Hotel, Warrington. Attended by over 120 guests entertainment was provided by Stephen Smith, The Rumpole of Rotherham - www.steve-d-smith.co.uk.
The Loyal Toast was given by Lance Fogg, Chairman, North Western Branch. (pictured above with his wife, Sheila)
The toast to the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation was given by Ian Robinson, Director, CECA (NW) and the reply to the toast was from Chris Jackson, President, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation.
The toast to the guests was proposed by Lance Fogg, North Western Branch Chairman with the reply from Guest Speaker, Stephen Smith.

Presentation of the awards was done by Barry Heaps, Chairman, North Western Branch Events Sub-Committee with certificates being handed to the winners by Branch Chairman, Lance Fogg.
Awards were given in the following categories:
1. North West Transportation Project of the Year (winner - Cheshire East Council/Birse)
2. North West Safety Project of the Year (winner - Lancashire Road Safety Partnership)
3. North West Sustainability Project of the Year (winner - Nu-Phalt)
