What a fantastic night of celebrations for CIHT North West at their annual Awards Dinner, held on Thursday, 14th May. The event celebrated excellence and took the opportunity to showcase the breadth of work going on in the region.

The Awards Dinner was held at the Parr's Bank Hotel in Warrington, a beautiful grade II listed building and saw a wide range of organisations represented, from local authorities, to consultancies and beyond.

The night was opened by CIHT North West Chair, Ian Robinson who thanked attendees for their longstanding commitment to improving the sector, swiftly followed by a speech from Mitesh Solanki, President of CIHT, highlighting the impressive (47!) award entries from across the sector, showcasing the innovation, collaboration and professionalism that defines the North West.

The night was not over yet and a special award was handed out to Barry Heaps for his lifetime commitment to not only the industry but to CIHT - Barry has been a dedicated member of CIHT for 38 years, most recently serving as the region's CIHT Council Representative. From all of us at CIHT, we would also like to extend our thank yous to him.

The night's chosen charity partner was North West Air Ambulance Charity who provide life-saving critical care across the region, often in the most challenging circumstances. Their services rely entirely on donations and CIHT North West was proud to have been able to contribute to this through donations and an exciting raffle during the Awards dinner.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their participation, whether it was by submitting an entry or attending on the night. We look forward to next year's celebrations already.
