It’s that time of the year again. Companies hoping to be listed in the Transportation Consultants Directory this summer have until Friday 4 March to fill out and return questionnaires that will be sent to them this week.

The annual directory is the sector’s foremost guide to consultants operating in transportation and is distributed with the June issue of Transportation Professional.

Listing in the directory is free and is open to all consultants, whatever their size. As well as the questionnaire there is a business trends survey which companies are invited to complete, allowing our editorial team to identify the major issues currently affecting consultancy firms.

Last year’s Directory found that 62% of consulting firms were fairly optimistic about the business climate over the coming 12 months, with 24% saying they were very optimistic. Only 4% reported varying degrees of pessimism.

It was also found that 73% of respondents expected their workload to increase over the coming year, with 23% saying they thought their levels of work would remain the same. It will be interesting to see whether the positive outlook from 2015 continues into this year.
