CIHT is pleased to be a supporter of National Apprentice Week
Transport is part of everyone’s lives; it connects communities and supports the economy. The highways and transportation industry offers an interesting and exciting range of opportunities for apprentices to get involved in all aspects of the building, maintenance, operation, design and planning of transport networks.
CIHT offers an Apprentice Membership Grade that is suitable for all apprentices who have embarked on a career in highways and transportation.
Sue Percy, CIHT Chief Executive said:
“We are delighted to have an Apprentices Grade of membership. This is important for CIHT as we have been working with government and our sector to highlight the role that apprentices will play now and in the future for the UK.”
“Apprenticeships are a great way to learn new skills, gain valuable work experience and become qualified all whilst earning a wage. National Apprenticeship Week provides an opportunity for us to highlight all those involved in promoting and supporting this great initiative”.
CIHT features profiles of members on its website. To find out about Niamh Mallaghan, an apprentice with Connect Plus Services, please see here
