The President will continue to be the member facing, outward facing, external face of CIHT. The Chair of the Board of Trustees will have an internal focus, be involved in business planning and governance. The Chair will be a 2-year role, renewable once. The postholder will need to be a Corporate Member of the Institution (i.e. a Fellow or a Member).
Members are invited to nominate suitable candidates for the Chair of the Board of Trustees role via email to Sue Percy by Friday 9 April. The Nominations Panel will review all nominations and make a recommendation to Council for election at the meeting scheduled on 23 June.
Any person being nominated will need to provide a summary statement in support of the expression of interest – this should be a statement (max 2 pages) to highlight their relevant knowledge and experience related to the requirements of this new role and their motivations to be considered for appointment to the position.
