On Friday 9 December 2016, over 1,800 guests gathered at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London for the 67th CIHT Annual Luncheon. The Luncheon is a prestigious networking and social event that celebrates the work of the highways and transportation sector.
The sell-out Annual Luncheon was a great success with speeches from CIHT President, Steve Rowsell, and CIHT Chief Executive, Sue Percy, plus guest speakers Tricia Hayes, Director General for Roads, Motoring and Devolution in the Department for Transport and television personality and former MP Gyles Brandreth. CIHT’s 14,000 member Lisa Gardener from Waterman Group was also invited to the Annual Lunch and presented with her membership certificate by Steve Rowsell.
CIHT would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Annual Luncheon guests who generously contributed over £9000 to the CIHT Foundation charity collection. This figure is set to increase with gift aid donations.
The focus of the CIHT Foundation is on educational or innovative proposals that advance the art and science of highways and transportation. You can read more about the work of the Foundation
