Supporting Transport Planning Apprentices since 2016

In 2016, CIHT became the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for the Level 3 Transport Planning Technician Apprenticeship, which offers an ideal first step to a career in Transport Planning. This Transport Planning Apprenticeship opens up access to the profession, improves the career prospects for school leavers and helps to address the skills shortages within the sector.

The EPAs of Transport Planning Apprentices with CIHT, includes an assessment for the internationally recognised professional qualification of Engineering Technician (EngTech). CIHT support apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey and in the lead up to their EPA. We hold CPD events and live webinars to provide advice for apprentices and their employers.

We have supported over 100 apprentices to further their careers and we are delighted to offer free apprentice membership to them all. Becoming Ofqual recognised in 2021 will enable us to continue to deliver excellent support to the apprentices and all key stakeholders.”

CIHT work closely with award winning Learning Provider, Leeds College of Building (LCoB) to deliver the Transport Planning Apprenticeship. LCoB are actively seeking applications onto their apprenticeship programs. Please find out more here.
