Entries to the CIHT Awards 2016 are now open. The annual award ceremony recognises best practice in the highways and transportation industry and submissions are welcome for a total of 12 categories.
The prestigious ceremony will take place at the Pavilion at the Tower of London on Thursday 9 June 2016. The event will celebrate the best of the sector and the professionals who have helped to make a real impact in their field. Submissions will be accepted for entry until Friday 11 March.
This year sees the launch of a new category in the Sustainable Transport Award. This recognises the contribution of transport to social, economic and environmental sustainability. Judges will welcome entries that deliver mode shift towards more sustainable modes of transport.
CIHT Director of Communications Daniel Isichei said: “The CIHT Awards are established as a benchmark of industry excellence. By entering these awards companies have the opportunity to put themselves and their projects forward as examples of good practice.”

CIHT Young Professional Award is also open for entries. Young Professionals may apply for the award or be nominated by their CIHT Region or their employer.
