This year, the CIHT awards will be presented in a new and different way. Never more than now, has there been a reason to celebrate who we are, and how we will safeguard the future of our industry. For this reason, we have developed a programme of digital initiatives that will share knowledge from all shortlisted companies, through to announcing the winners.

The sector has risen to the challenge of Covid-19, moving forward courageously and with positivity. Our most important focus has been to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and the public at large. Swiftly adapting to daily challenges and the rapid embrace of new technology has astounded us all, but we have risen to the challenges before us, and should all be very proud of our achievements.
CIHT wants to recognise both the achievement of our shortlists and winners, but also to come together to celebrate all that is good about the transportation sector and to share knowledge and to support each other.
When will the shortlists be announced?
Each award category this year will have its own dedicated hub landing page on CIHT's website.
Our awards themes this year underpin how our sector is Supporting those that work for us and how the sector is using Innovation continuously to improve what we do.
The environmental challenges and the unanticipated positive impacts on our carbon footprint has not gone unnoticed. Together, we can come together to learn, adapt, and change for the good of all, represented by our theme, Shaping the Future
Celebrating the shortlist
The awards celebration will begin in the second week of June and be phased across a series of three short virtual events where the shortlisted entries will be announced. The three events will cluster our categories into core themes. More information including how to book can be found below:
The event will see key industry leaders presenting a brief thought piece before the shortlists are announced.
What about the Award Winners?
The overall winners will be announced on 23 June via a high-profile webcast event hosted by CIHT’s President, Martin Tugwell. More details on this event will be available soon.
