Votes are now being invited for the election of Ordinary Members of CIHT's Council 2012/13.

All members of CIHT will have received a ballot form in their latest edition of Transportation Professional (May 2012).

Members are asked to vote under the single transferable voting system for three out of the nine candidates for election as Ordinary Members of Council.

They are Stuart Atkinson, Gordon Baker, Joe Burns, John D’Arcy, Johnny Ojeil, Trupti Patel, Jerry Pert, John Sunderland and Alan Young.

Completed ballot forms should be returned to Sue Percy, CIHT’s Chief Executive CIHT, by 4pm on Monday 21 May 2012.

CIHT’s Director of Corporate Services Brian Murrell said: “This is the opportunity for all members to select their representative on Council, which plays a key role in shaping the strategy and future direction for CIHT. Next year will be a very interesting and challenging time for the new Council. A high turnout would be an important sign that members had a healthy interest in CIHT affairs."
