CIHT's Council met on Wednesday (20 February) for their first quarterly meeting of the year to discuss strategic issues affecting the Institution. Council received an update on the recent work and achievements of CIHT from Vice President Sheila Holden. A copy of Sheila's presentation can be found below.
The meeting also included provided a valuable insight to Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), with presentations from CIHT Fellow and Chair of Enterprise M3 LEP, Geoff French and Interim Chief Executive of Heart of the South West LEP, Liz Waugh. Council then participated in a full debate and divided into workshop groups to discuss LEPs further and the role CIHT could play in supporting them.
CIHT will now start preparing a Policy Advice Note to be issued to all members with advice and information on how members can engage and support LEPs.
