At CIHT Cymru Wales’ North Wales Awards Dinner on 27 November at The Kinmel, Abergele, over 100 transportation professionals gathered to celebrate the successes of the industry in the area. The event was again sponsored by Alun Griffiths Contractors, Corderoy and Jones Bros (Ruthin).

In addition, the A470(T) Gelligemlyn and Llanfair PG Park and Ride Share Scheme (client Isle of Anglesey County Council, designer Mott MacDonald, contractor Dawnus) were highly commended by the judges in the Project of the Year and Environmental Sustainability project of the year categories respectively.
Region chair Kerry Evans thanked The Kinmel staff, the sponsors, attending companies and the North Wales area group members for their support and after the awards had been presented legendary cancer-surviving jockey Bob Champion MBE spoke about his experiences in horse racing and his charity work.
