The shortlist of finalists for the 2024 Apprentice and Emerging Professional of the Year awards has been revealed. Shortlisted applicants will now go forward to a round of interviews with the judging panel before winners are revealed at the Emerging Professionals Conference to be held at Aston University, Birmingham, on 9 April 2025

The quality and quantity of entrants for this year’s CIHT Emerging Professional and Apprentice of the Year awards makes the short listing a very difficult exercise. All of those who have made the shortlist this year should be very proud as this was a particularly strong field. It is going to be a challenge to judge the inspirational shortlist to determine the final winners and we have a lot of exciting debate ahead. I am really encouraged that our future is in safe hands with the next generation of CIHT and sector leaders coming through these awards.
This event will see early careers professionals from across the highways, transportation and infrastructure sector join influential names within the industry to discuss and hear about key issues.
Speakers will include representatives from academia, local and national government covering a range of topics curated by our very own Emerging Professionals Network.
