The Partnerships Network brings together representatives from public, private and academic sectors, for the purpose of top-level meaningful discussion and debate, focussing on the issues that affect us all as a sector.
At today’s session each member of CIHT’s Partnerships Network shared their thoughts on three questions they had been given in advance and below are some of the key takeaways from those responses. The partners discussed:
Safety of staff, ensuring recognition that highway workers are essential and on-going sector-wide collaboration to ensure that the sector is ready to bounce back quickly came out as some of the key points.
Mark Stevens from Suffolk County Council and ADEPT also presented the latest thinking from the Highways Sector Council and the Department for Transport and took questions from the attendees.
More content and detail from the discussion and presentation will be available soon on the Partnerships Network page here.
