Speaking at Highways UK, Matthew will provide detail on the scope of this review and what it planned to achieve.

The review which will be delivered in early 2019 will look at a number of key areas:

• Creating a vision for effective and sustainable maintenance of the local highway network
• Outlying the opportunities to inspire and create real change for the industry
• Exploring alternative funding models and news ways of managing the local highway network
• Considering best practise and innovative solutions from around the world
• Overcoming the barriers and challenges that have limited reform before

More details of the CIHT Lugg Review will be released as the project develops.

CIHT will be collaborating with key strategic partners to deliver this review over the next few months and more information will be published in early 2019.
