CIHT members are invited to take part in an online workshop exploring MHCLG’s consultation, “Reducing the prevalence of private estate management arrangements.” The session will take place on Friday 13 February 2026, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
This interactive workshop will provide members with the opportunity to discuss the implications of the consultation for highways, transport infrastructure, and long-term place management. Private estate management arrangements have become an increasingly important issue across the sector, affecting adoption of roads and public spaces, maintenance responsibilities, and the experience of residents and communities.
CIHT is keen to hear directly from members about the practical challenges, professional perspectives, and potential solutions related to these arrangements. Insights gathered during the session will help inform the Institution’s response to the MHCLG consultation and ensure it reflects the breadth of expertise across our membership.
