CIHT North West Chair, Ian Robinson, welcomed over 150 guests and industry colleagues from across the region for an evening celebrating the very best in highways and transportation. The prestigious awards recognised the outstanding people, projects, and initiatives that are making life easier and safer for those living and working in the North West.
Attendees were joined by CIHT Immediate Past President, Professor Glenn Lyons, along with representatives from the North East & Cumbria, North West, and Yorkshire & the Humber regions. The evening was expertly compered by the ever-engaging Mark Gregory, with the awards presentation led by regional committee and council member, Barry Heaps. Musical entertainment was provided by the talented singer Lauren Sanckson.
The judging panel were once again impressed by the exceptional standard of entries across all categories, with competition proving incredibly close throughout.
The committee extends its thanks to all entrants for their contributions, and a special thank you goes to event sponsors A E Yates, Kier, Bethell, and Huyton Asphalt. Without their generous support, this event would not be possible.
Congratulations to all the winners and highly commended entries. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to the Chair’s nominated charity, the North West Air Ambulance. Thanks to your generosity, we surpassed last year’s total and raised over £3,000 on the night!
