On 9th November 2009, John Parry gave an interview on BBC Radio Nottingham, in relation so a major Highway Planning Inquiry startings on the following week for the A453(T). The interview was mainly concerned with talking over the PI procedures and how objector ideas are treated by the HA.  John Parry was commenting as a highway professional and Midland Commitee Member and former Chairman of IHT Midlands Branch.
