CIHT is today opening the consultation on its strategic plan. This important document sets the overall framework within which CIHT plans for and delivers its services in support of its members, partners and stakeholders. It provides the context within which CIHT’s Trustees, working with Council, develop more detailed delivery plans for the years ahead. Now is the opportunity for you to shape our next Strategic Plan.
CIHT’s current Strategic Plan covers the period 2016 to 2021: this consultation forms part of the process of preparing the next Strategic Plan. The consultation provides members and those closely interested in and supportive of the Institution’s work, with the opportunity to feedback on how CIHT delivers and funds its services and its future focus and opportunities. It also forms part of CIHT’s wider engagement with stakeholders around the Institution’s plans and priorities.

“CIHT is a chartered professional membership body and as such it is important that we hear from our members. It is also important to hear from our partners and stakeholders as we develop the content of our next Strategic Plan.
In looking to the future, it is clear from the last couple of years that our members, and indeed the wider profession, face several challenges but therein also lie opportunities.
As a professional body it is essential that we continue to support our members as they provide the leadership required in the face of these challenges: we need to ensure we support our members as they develop and apply the skills needed for that leadership role.
Now is the opportunity for you to shape our next Strategic Plan.
Your thoughts and perspective on the issues raised in this document will be used by the Trustees and our Council to develop the next Strategic Plan: we want to hear from you.”
The consultation will be open until 17.00 on the 2 July.
This online consultation will be supported over the next 5 weeks by a series of workshops for members and stakeholders to discuss the key issues in the strategic plan in more detail.
