Highways UK, the flagship event for people who plan, design, build and operate the UK's road network takes place at the Birmingham NEC on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 November. This years’ focus is on road owning clients, beyond Highways England and the strategic roads network giving equal weight to regional, local and urban roads networks.

The event has grown by 50% every year since the 2015 launch with over 3000 visitors and 130 exhibitors.

We are delighted to be Principal Sponsor of Highways UK. Working with our partners, the CIHT two-day programme held at the CIHT Theatre offers a range of free to attend high calibre workshops, panels, insights and talks. Further details of CIHT speakers will be released next week.

The CIHT programme includes:

Day 1: Panel session chaired by CIHT President, Mathew Lugg addressing his Presidential theme for 2018-2019: ‘Delivering Services for people’.
Day 1: Chris Dyer, Head of Consultancy – Infrastructure Asset Management, Yotta, leading on ‘Getting best value from data’.
Day 2: Panel of diverse women working in the sector representing the nations and regions addressing ‘Diversity & Inclusion – Routes into the profession’.
Day 2: Nicola Kane, Head of Strategic Planning and Research at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) addressing ‘GMTS – How the Greater Manchester Transport Strategy 2040 will be applied’.
Day 2: CIHT Young Professionals Network (YPN) leading on ‘The Future of Transportation’ the theme of the inaugural Young Professional Conference being held in Leeds on Thursday 15 November
