The AGM marked the conclusion of a successful year for CIHT Scotland. In 2024, the committee delivered 10 events, offering members a broad range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and networking opportunities. That momentum is set to continue, with the 2025 events programme off to a strong start (see listings).
CIHT Scotland is pleased to confirm that Malcolm Matheson will continue as Chair for the second and final year of his two-year term. A warm welcome is also extended to newly elected committee member Stuart Turnbull.
The committee extends its sincere thanks to outgoing members Andy Keba, Georgina Steel, Megan Blake, and Sean Clifford for their contributions. Special recognition goes to Pamela Gidney, whose longstanding service in key roles - most recently as Honorary Secretary and Events Coordinator - has made a lasting impact. Her hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
Looking ahead, the 2025–26 committee will focus on net-zero/sustainability in the transport sector, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and expanding CIHT membership across Scotland.
