The Institution was greatly saddened at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen and her family have been strong supporters of many great causes and we were honoured to receive our own Royal Charter in 2009.

CIHT President, Neil Johnstone, on the announcement of the Queen’s passing issued the following statement: “On behalf of the Institution and our members, we would like to formally record a tribute to the Queen’s remarkable contributions and her dedication to service. We will remember Her Majesty with affection, respect and gratitude.”

Our thoughts and sympathies are with all those who feel affected by the loss of Queen Elizabeth II and the Institution will formally write to the Princess Royal, an Honorary Fellow of CIHT who has supported various CIHT events over the years, to offer our deepest condolences and express our gratitude for the service of the Queen.
