This year the Branch invited all young professionals to prepare a 10 minute presentation on any subject relevant to the profession, with a chance to win a monetary prize of £100 (kindly donated by VolkerHighways) and free tickets to the Branch Dinner Dance.

 

The competition was won by Nicole Sidaway from TRL with her fascinating talk  on the importance of calibrating managed motorways. Nicole will go on to represent the Branch at the National Colas Presentation Award in November at CIHT’s Headquarters in Britannia Walk, London.
