CIHT will be exploring and developing the theme over the next 12 months with a particular focus on:
• what transport will look like in the future and the skills needed to deliver it
• using innovation and technology to improve transport network accessibility
• shaping the transport and innovation agenda
Sue Sharland said:
“As an organisation CIHT is always looking to provide a better service for members and society as a whole. Our organisation and industry is changing and transport, infrastructure and technology should be considered in a much broader context.
“CIHT has an important leadership role in promoting intelligent transport in a connected world. We will be highlighting CIHT’s role to everybody involved in transport infrastructure, including complementary sectors such as telecoms and utilities.”
