The AGM marked the culmination of another successful year for the region. In 2024, the committee hosted 15 events and collaborated on an additional 11 joint events with other institutions—providing members with nearly 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities. The momentum continues into 2025, with the events programme already off to a strong start (see listings).
Congratulations to Ed Downer who will continue in his role as Chair for the final year of his two-year term. Georgia Woloszczak steps into the role of Vice Chair, having previously served as Honorary Treasurer, and brings a wealth of experience to her new position.
CIHT Yorkshire & the Humber also welcomes eight new members to the committee this year. Their addition reflects the region’s ongoing commitment to engaging members and professionals in the highways and transportation sector through a diverse programme of events and initiatives.
