Black History Month is a month dedicated to celebrating Black history, heritage and culture, and the iconic figures that have contributed so much including across the transport sector. This year we want to make it about more – as the theme of this year’s Black History Month is ‘Time for Change: Action not Words’ and we wanted to explore what the month of action involves and why, along with what we can all do to take meaningful action. Community activist, guerrilla historian and published author. Tony has been exhibiting educational and empowering films about Africa and Caribbean history since 2000, and coordinating Black History tours, river cruises and talks as well as collaborating with the Nubian Jak charity.
