In recent weeks CIHT has submitted responses to the Transport Select Committee's inquiries into; Local Roads Funding and Governance, Active Travel, as well as the DfT's consultations on Bus Accessibility and the draft Clean Air Strategy.
Our responses reflected the desire for members to have sufficient tools and reliable funding to deliver truly transformational schemes, as well as deliver the day to day maintenance that makes our journeys reliable and comfortable.
Two upcoming consultations are Transport Appraisal and Modelling Strategies: informing future investment decisions (15/10/2018) and New cycling offences: causing death or serious injury when cycling (05/11/2018) and we welcome all members views to Technical@ciht.org.uk.
