To put yourself forward you need to complete a nomination form that involves:

If there are more nominations that vacancies available, the information from the nomination form will then be used to produce a profile of yourself on an online voting website. A ballot of the membership will take place and the results will be announced at the AGM in June.
Ordinary Member: There are six vacancies for Ordinary Members of Council for 2021/22. Find out more information or complete the Ordinary Member Nomination form online here by 17:00 on 26 February 2021.
Regional Member: There are seven vacancies for Regional Members for 2021/22 in the following regions: CIHT North East & Cumbria (1), CIHT Northern Ireland (1), CIHT Wales (2), CIHT Scotland (1), CIHT Republic of Ireland (1) and CIHT Yorkshire & The Humber (1). Nominees for Regional Members must have a registered address in the Region for which they wish to stand.
Nominations are normally coordinated by the Regional Committees and if you are thinking of standing you should contact your Regional Secretary. You must complete the Council Nomination form 2021 - Regional Members and return it governance@ciht.org.uk by 17:00 on 22 February 2019.
Finding Voting Members to support your nomination: Nominations for both Ordinary and Regional members need to be supported by four Voting Members. The best way to meet Voting Members is to contact your Regional Secretary.
