2008 saw the introduction of the annual IHT Learned Society Lecture into the regular events programme run by the IHT central office at Britannia Walk.  This year to utilise the facilities now available at the new offices and supplement the Learned Society Lecture the IHT are holding a series of technical evening lectures.

The lectures will be delivered by eminent members of the transportation profession on a range topical transport issues. The lectures would take place mid-week once a month, to commence at around 6.00pm with tea and coffee, starting the lecture at 6.30pm, with a 45 minute presentation and 25 minutes for discussion, followed  by a networking session with wine and light refreshments. The evening will be CPD accredited and IHT staff will be available to answer any training, qualification or membership issues  that delegates may wish to raise.
