To celebrate International Women in Engineering day and following on from the recent launch of our ‘Shifting the Dial’ EDI strategy, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a International Women in Engineering Day Webinar on Thursday 23rd June.
The webinar will explore the concept of ‘imposter syndrome’ experienced by professionals who identify as women, as well as practical coping strategies to build confidence and resilience in women so that they can work towards career progression and help achieve gender parity.
Delegates will have the opportunity to be involved in the conversation by sharing views and asking questions as they learn about the theory of so called ‘imposter syndrome’, personal experiences, challenges, how to build positive coping strategies to increase confidence, self-efficacy and ultimately, the level of career progression available to male counterparts.
This event is open to both members and non-members of CIHT. It will be of particular interest to Engineers who identify as women, people considering a career in engineering, and for people who are keen to become allies to women in engineering from across the sector and gender spectrum.
