Transport Planners are encouraged to assist with the ISSUES project run by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council by completing an on-line questionnaire.
This survey is aimed at those who work in the transport planning sector of Local Authorities. It looks at how new knowledge about sustainability issues and transport planning tools is acquired. It contains multiple choice questions, with room for comments, and should take about five to ten minutes to complete.
A set of 18 tools has been developed in collaboration with Local Authorities and transport practitioners. The tools are specifically developed to assist with the next round of Local Transport Plans and similar initiatives. We would very much like to know if you have heard about this research project and the tools that have been developed. We would appreciate it if you would spare some time to complete the following on-line survey.
The Survey forms part of the ISSUES (Implementation Strategies for Sustainable Urban Environment Systems) Project. ISSUES is the principal Knowledge Transfer component of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded Towards a Sustainable Urban Environments (SUE) Programme, which undertakes strategic research to provide knowledge, tools, and evidence to support the UK's sustainability policy and practice.
