Being a CPD panel member, gives you an opportunity to ensure that CIHT Members are undertaking CPD and that CIHT is providing them with the support they need to meet the CPD requirements. One of your primary roles would be to review a small sample of randomly selected CPD records and Development Action Plans and provide CIHT Members with detailed and constructive feedback, then discuss any matters related to the annual review at the bi-annual CPD panel meetings with your fellow panel members.
CIHT want to create a diverse and inclusive CPD panel that can take our CPD plans into the future, while ensuring that CIHT’s CPD guidance is kept updated in line with our Code of Conduct - and the requirements of the Engineering Council and the Chartered Transport Planning Professional.
We are looking for Professionally qualified members with excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to devote some time and commitment to support the development of CIHT Members. You will also be required to keep and submit an annual CPD record and a Development Action Plan.
There is no doubt that the CIHT annual CPD review process encourages and improves the consistency and quality of CIHT Members’ CPD submissions. We invite you to join our team and help us take our CPD plans into he future.
