A report looking at the effects of reduced street lighting on road casualties and crime rates has now been published. The study was published by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and found little evidence of harmful effects due to the switch off or changes to lighting on road collisions or crime in England and Wales. The report can be viewed here.
